... and now he is seven! The guitar lessons will begin with the new school term. We had a lovely trip to the seaside for some favourite treats! Quote of the day."Mum, can you show me how to play like Jimi Hendrix?" And now he wants to post his first video on the world wide web. You saw it here first! Exclusive to Kitschen Pink - the YouTube Finger Boards Wanabee! Just toooooo sweet!
oh my gosh! Did you make each one of those amazing cakes!? I really love the idea and 4 and 5 are just amazing! They look so amazing all lined up in a row! Happy Birthday to your handsome young MAN!

Thankyou for coming to visit my blog the other day and for your sweet comments. For some reason I have not been able to leave comments on your blog. Happy Birthday little one.
This is absolutely charming T.. I loved the countdown cakes and those photos would make a lovely book ????? hint hint! Happy Birthday to your brilliant son... I shall look out for him on Youtube!
Do you by any chance have the Womans Weekly Party Cakes book?! My children spend weeks each year agonising over which one to choose .. and then usually choose something much harder and likely to induce breakdown.
Check them out - horrid! http://belgianwaffling.blogspot.com/2008/05/in-which-jaywalker-exhorts-herself-not.html
Your blog is super super pretty by the way and has calmed me on a really fractious day. Thank you!
The cakes are gorgeous. How lovely to have a age cake for each birthday. Better not ask if you can make one for my next birthday, the candles alone would be able to start a small fire!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUNG MAN!!! WOW....do I remember being 7 ?? Hmmmm....it was long time ago.....but I know I knew your Mummy then, and she would have been at my party!.....;-))
Glad you had such a fabby day and lots of yummy cake too! Good luck with the guitar lessons - I'm sure you will be just as good as Jimmy, with a little practise!
What amazing cakes! My childhood birthday cakes alternated between the chocolate hedgehog with chocolate buttons/matchmakers and a chocolate grandfather clock. Brilliant. Hope you don't mind but I've tagged you over at my blog for something fun. Cx ; )

Hi, great ideas and your colours are wonderful, I worked right through your entire blog to 'brighten' my day. Is it always that sunny in Norfolk? I'll call again. Cheers, Eli

FBP Thanks for fluttering around a bit! If it makes you feel better we spent a very wet afternoon yesterday river dipping with a new net and bucket! We might as well have got in the river ourselves we were so soggy! t.x
