Feeling festive!

Well, if I wasn't feeling festive on Friday - I'm certainly getting in the mood now! Have you heard? We had SNOW! Proper silent white fluffy snow !!
Snowmen have been built..
Neighbours children arrived and the old freezer door sled was put back into service again!
Oh we do love snow on a Sunday!
So good to all be home together to enjoy it. I love this view of the cottage.
The snow covers the brambles and somewhere in this view there's a vegetable patch that needs digging over.... what bliss to be in the garden without having to worry about any chores, just to play and enjoy the moment!
❄ And we did!
Oh I did a bit of work last week too! Here's a glimpse of w.i.p.
Well who says Pink can't be a festive colour?!
Not a hope of any decent photos today though - decidedly wet and grey again! But I don't care anymore. I'm in the mood, Next week it will be December and advent calenders are waiting to be opened!
I'm in the mood for Christmas! t.x

Wow- All I got in London was a bit of snow on the trees and bare earth in my garden, and that impressed me. Nowhere near as wonderful as You got!

I did get the festive feeling too. Practically December anyway!

Is it really December next week? Oh crikey! I have got a bit xmassy here with a spot of festive cooking today and I am making covers for jam pots from xmassy fabrics.

Anyway, what lucky people you were to have snow, and on a weekend too. It's never much fun when there's snow and the little ones have to troop off to school. I bet you had a great time. Your cottage looks absolutely beautiful, fit for this year's Kitschen Pink xmas card?

Love the stocking, by the way. show us more!

Hi T!
No idea you had snow in the East - I spoke to Mum on Friday, but not since, so I didn't realise...How fab! Glad you were all at home to enjoy it! Mind you, England usually grinds to a hault with the teeniest of flutterings, so I'm sure a school day would have become a 'snow day' with that amount.

Well done with the festive makes - I can't seem to get my head around it being Christmas in a months time....especially as it was E's Birthday today...thanks for your well wishes and I gave her the hug for you!

Keep warm!

It looks magical! I'm on the other side of the planet and here we are rainy, humid and hot.
Wow you lucky things! Doesn't it look magical? We never get snow here in North Devon, especially where we live, by the sea. I would love a bit of snow to get me in the festive mood.

My parents live in Norfolk and phoned me to say they had 3" of snow, so I really enjoyed seeing your snowy pictures. My children wish we had snow as often as Grandma and Grandad. Lovely blog, will pop back again. Pj

Beautiful pink stocking, my dd would love it! Oh, who am I kidding, I would too ;0)

We've had snow, but the wet, slushy not staying kind *sigh* I've been so busy making things for my children that I've hardly had time to notice though.

OOh! Thank-you everyone for stopping by! Just to be quite clear- Magical is the right word - snow for our garden is the equivalent of wearing a hat on a bad hair day - it covers a multitude of sins! HAHA! t.xx
