We've been busy busy with Easter crafts but today I had a little time to myself to play with china and play I did. Sorting cupboards, rearranging things around the house. Have I mentioned how much I love china?
Today it all started when we went to the farm this morning to buy eggs and saw this Spring greenery.
I thought of this and decided it was time to do this....
Spring Greens! Not sure how those sweeties got in there... but you can bet they didn't last long after the picture was taken! And did you spy this little cutie?
A certain little man wanted him filled with blue water and seems to have taken ownership!
I'm doing a swap across the Atlantic for retro sweeties (more on that another day when I can reveal all without spoiling any surprises!), and because of this, I have been thinking about my favourite childhood sweets. I think the reason I love this Italian china is....
Because it always reminds me of these!
You think?
Of course Iced Gems are not what they used to be. The lack of additives means that they no longer have the lovely bright colours because that would be very bad for us..... but they're still delicious!
Here's another piece of sweetie china - it's hard to tell what's edible and what's not!
Well, the tree is looking so pretty, especially when the afternoon sun comes around to the window and lights it all up.
The bunting is up.
We're all ready for the eggs to arrive! Not long now. Hope you're all having a nice week - is it really only Monday?! t.x
