Buttons and bows.

It has been a while since I made a good button haul, and yes, this one was complimented by a few Meakin Rosa bowls for my utility china collection!
Such beautiful colours and if you look closely so much plastic treasure! Flowers, glass, deco... so many lovely ones...
but I am especially delighted with these snowflakes and bows....
and this lovely little puppy! What treasure!
In a busy week of photoshoots for the county magazine for our market, Lisa and I have still managed to eat cake and I have found time for some quiet stitching along with my favourite audio books.
The boy has been poorly for the first week of his half term but we are hopeful he will be all better for the second week and our halloween celebrations! He has fallen in love with this pumpkin design and is already busy working on his own version...
... a good likeness I think...
Today we had a jaunt out to my friend's workshop where she makes deliciously scented natural soaps and bubbles....
it's a pleasure to be there with all the lovely scents
the store room is intoxicating...
Just one more pic for you today....
The boy is so delighted that the shops are stocking his favourite biscuits again and look what greeted me when I looked in the biscuit cupboard.....
I mean as if I would?! t.xxx

You have got fabulous ingredients working to produce one delicious post.

Oh ... those buttons! Wow.

Cheers!
Wonderful buttons and embroidery. As regards the biscuits: sling a teatowel over the camera, grab a couple of chocolate fingers and put the box back! :O).. Oh, and whistle the theme tune to "Mission Impossible" as you do it! (Well, they are only going to melt being so close to a hot camera!!!!)

Oh God I love those buttons! I collect them too and was not able to make it to many sales this summer to add to my collection. I am going through button withdrawal I think. Love that soap...the yummy colors and oh that white chocolate! The pumpkin carving looks just like him!! Too cute!
