If you go down to the woods today...

Is there anything to beat a crisp Autumn afternoon walk in the woods? ...

Maybe a crisp Autumn afternoon walk in the woods followed by a National Trust Cream Tea!

We've just been out collecting sweet chestnuts, on a very damp and grey and miserable morning. It was fab, loved splashing through puddles alongside the lane, tramping through wet leaves in my wellies, taking some photos of stunning colours in HM's woods too.
Two lovely posts.......... I particularly would have liked to have been in the last of your posts investigating what looked like a brilliant habitat for bugs!!!! :O)

Now there's spooky... I did a very similar walk last week.. National Trust, berries and all.

Just love to see those pictures of lovely Autumn colours as we don't really have Autumn here where I live in Australia the land of never ending sunshine and beaches.
