Out to Lunch - and how!

I promised to share my treat and whilst I didn't manage to save you a piece of cake, I am sure you will enjoy these pictures I took for you! As soon as my friend and I arrived, I knew I would be happy here - all those beautiful blues and greens outside...
I'm smiling broadly already.. how about you?
Do you see the lovely shell patterns around the door, can you glimpse that scrummy pink?
Oh! pink, acid green, sea blues.......
Died and gone to heaven!
Welcome to Wiveton Hall Farm Cafe. Wise to plan ahead as this inspirational place between Cley and Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast is often fully booked! Do you spy those enormous cakes on the counter? I spotted them the moment I recovered from the colours all around!
The cafe is set in the midst of the fruit farm looking out over the fields which grow the fruit and veg that guide the day to day menus in the cafe.
Want another look at those scrummy colours?
mmmmm....
And as if the surroundings weren't happy enough, my lovely friend treated me to a delicious lunch of divine Pumpkin Risotto followed by puddings - oh those puddings.... very tempting but actually..
I chose cake!
I did say that I didn't manage to save you any didn't I? All of this and then a short walk out of the farm and you are in the National Nature Reserve at Blakeney. Perfect for walking off that cake!
All in all an idyllic afternoon and just the tonic I needed. I was even happy to see the winter laundry drying by the Aga when I returned home... ... those colours were oddly reminiscent of my scrummy lunchtime jaunt! t.xx

That pink on the walls is utterly perfect. And how nice to see a cafe using beautiful china. The little things make such a difference.

Oh Oh! What a PLACE! A swoony colourful cheery cafe. The table cloth, the little chirpy robin cup. Risotto, like a ricey hug. It almost makes me happy that winter is coming, almost.

I read over at Mrs Bun that poorly cuddles were happening. I do hope all is better.

Oh! I've come over all unnecessary!I'm having a rather colourful day as it is, and that has been the icing on the cake! Love those photos!
Mmm...looks delicious (and the cakes do too!)
We have a lovely farm shop nearby with a super coffee shop inside - it's perfect for a Saturday morning breakfast (they serve proper bubble & squeak with your eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms & tomatoes), lunch or afternoon tea.

Not being able to resist 'chasing comments' on a wet, dreary morning it has been lovely to revisit the riot of colour and imagery that is your blog - so cheering. Lesley
