Jolly hard work!

With the emphaisis, of course, upon 'Jolly'! Mrs Bobobun and I worked very hard on Sunday putting up our banners and road signs for the next Pick 'n' Mix!
And then after all our hard work we had our recovery plan.... head to the sea...
Away up the hill past Cley.... I see the sea!
Oh yes we deserved a treat and a treat we were to have!
A table in the sunshine and asparagus in season.... oh yummy yum!
Mrs B is such a glamorous dunker!
and then so much choice for lunch.... so many delicious dishes....how to choose?!
And then there was the delectable pudding menu - perfectly complimented by the delectable Mrs B!
Hot and sunny though it was, we both plumped for Hot Sticky Toffee Pudding! Bliss! A lovely day out and a perfect example of the level of pure hard graft and commitment which has gone into our market! And we hope the spirit of our efforts is evident on the big day!!
Meanwhile I have had another thrifty week!
I am very in love with this darling little tin....
The beautiful boy has laid claim to this flock of tinky vintage birdies....
and I can never resist vintage flowers! These from a 1968 wedding trinket...
Another of my favourite flowers is coming into full bloom in the garden....and what do you spy there?
What's that billowing on the line...
Acres and acres, well, ok, yards and yards of vintage roses! I need to take a close up for you when they're all dry....
It was a good fabric day...more roses here and that lovely warm abstract...
I love these colours....
But I think I love these roses even more!
All of this fabric for less than £1. Now that's what I call a good fabric day. Possibly even a best ever!
And just one more thing to share today - a gardening book spied in a shop window....
Adds a whole new meaning to armchair gardening! Well, it made me smile. And I do like things that make me smile and I hope they make you smile too. I shall be back next with pictures of our market - I am so very looking forward to a lovely day out! Maybe see you there! t.xxx
PS - I just noticed it's my Blogiversary tomorrow! Oh poop! That's going to have to wait until another day but I promise we'll have a party and there will be treats! t.xx

Oh poo, I am obviously a week late getting back to Norfolk to attend your fair! In lovely Holt, too.

I was at Wiveton two weeks ago and I have to say I was severely disappointed with it, it was nowhere near as good as the first time we went (cracked tea pots, chipped cups) and the food was dreadful (stale ginger cake, two scones the size of 50p pieces) and so expensive! Lovely surroundings but we won't be going again. Boo.

It's no good, I need to win the Lotto this weekend or tonight! I have got to come over your way to pick up that gorgeous (yards and yards) Rose fabric ( I reallly would love it),plus go and eat everything on the menu at that wonderful seaside cafe...I'm salivating thinking of the Crab Bisque, the asparagus, even something I don't know what it is, just because!
I do hope the Pick n' mix goes well.
Sandie xx

Hope the fair goes well - and I love your fabulous fabric finds!
Oh... that is so awesome. I wish I could go thrifting with you! I love to do that. We received your package of N. materials! I LOVE Coleman Mustard, btw! I use it in my deviled eggs. Our N. isn't as pretty nor as exciting as yours. I still haven't gotten your package in the mail as my little one became very sick with pnuemonia, but I'm glad to say he is on the mend. I am going to the P.O on Tuesday to get it in the mail for you. My boys loved the bags and the bookmark. My oldest one loves the smell of the bookmark and keeps sniffing it. LOL. Thanks for sending!!!
