Thrift me happy!

Those of us in England are enjoying glorious May sunshine and that means so are the Irises! Their roots love to be sun-soaked and the display we're enjoying this year shows they're very happy!
I've had some happy thrifting too. Want to see?
mmm. Two more sweetie jars for my buttons (very much needed as I'm trying to get pot loads sorted!) A delicious t-pot!
Very pretty but sadly past it's useful days as the crazing inside is a bit excessive! But it looks soooo pretty!
Three.... yes three! huge rosy curtains! Oh I love these colours. So cosy and warm. And this....
darling little table with it's very own little 'Very Useful Drawer'. I love this little table and lookie!....
it has it's very own two chairs too. The whole trio for a fiver! Woohooo! I have just the place all ready for them but I can't show you yet so they're in the garden by the Forget-me-nots for the minute!
Lots of these again.....
Mrs Bobobun tells me off because they deserve to go to a home where someone will knit and crochet...
But I just tell myself that I will be that home one day. I WILL find time to be knitty again. Maybe this year. Maybe!
All in all a very good day's thrityness methinks!
And tomorrow I shall be seeing Mrs Bobobun with a mallet and some signboards as we start to remind the world of important events just around the corner!
Busy busy but not enough stitchy! Back soonish. t.xxx

Oh - Lordy, no stitchy here either. Hair dying, car washing and general faffing, but no stitchy. Curtains are perfection by the way. See you tomorrow day with your mullet or is that mallet?

Agree that those finds of yours are pretty great. That little tea pot will find all sorts of uses.

You've got such a good eye. Thank you for sharing photos of where that good eye led you.

Cheers!

I love irises too. I have a new one called 'Raspberry Blush' and as you reminded me I rushed out to look and it has seven buds just a about to pop. The label says 'Raspberry pink suffused with mauve on falls, rich orange beard' how gorgeous does that sound? I'm really looking forward to the Makers Market and have been saving my pennies! love P x

Those needles and hooks are so happy and colorful. I think they'd be just as happy in a pretty jar somewhere looking lovely! :) (good luck getting back to your knitting, all the same!)
