All the fun of the .... Maker's Market!

Mrs BoboBun and I had such a lovely time! We were able to decorate the hall the night before and set up our stalls....
and by 9am the next morning the hall was full of our dream pick 'n' mix of wonderful craftspeople and their wares! There was a queue at the door before we opened and mumsie did a wonderful job of welcoming shoppers all day - THANK-YOU mumsie!
the vintage cafe was run by the wonderful Sal of Daisy-boos Kitchen and was more popular than ever...
Little wonder given Sal's wonderful menu and stunning cakes and biscuits...
I chose one of these beauties for my breakfast... well.... I needed the energy boost having been up since 5am... that's my excuse and I feel it's a good one!!
So many of you dropped by to say hello and it was lovely to put faces to names! And for those of you that couldn't be there... do you want to see some of the beautiful things on the stalls?
Beautiful translucent birds from Robin Glass
An array of colourful plastic from Acorn and Will which makes everyone remember happy childhood treasures!
Shiny hookiness from Steve Handley....
Colourful bunting and vintage glass from Mrs BoboBun
Delicate silver from Emma of Silver Pebble...
Lorna's magnificent pots...

And when everyone had gone home, the hall was cleared and the crumbs were swept away, Mrs Bobobun and I began planning our next market in November! But before then I have a few more summer fairs to enjoy and next weekend I will be seeing many vintage loving friends again at Little Vintage Lover in Heydon - a fantastic venue and no doubt we'll all have another fine day!And just to top off my weekend, the beautiful boy and I went bird-ringing with the B.T.O. on Sunday counting tinky tiny baby blue tits and along the way we saw this precious rare orchid..

A Green-winged Orchid, up close and quite perfect! A beautiful treasure on a beautiful weekend.
I hope you're all enjoying the half term. We are off nest boxing with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust tomorrow. I shall be back soon to share some thrifty treasure and a lovely bloggy prize delivered to me at the Pick n Mix. t.xx
