It's the little things.

A luscious green glass bowl and a jolly box of tissues which greet me each morning in the shower room just to make me smile....
Meeting bloggy friends and finding that our children have so much in common that they become immediate best friends and cannot bear to be parted at the end of the day!

Watching the beautiful boy awestruck and hanging on every word of one of his heroes and me feeling happy that this kind of hero will teach him only good things...
So many good things that money can't buy and then, to top it all, I remembered to open my lovely giveaway prize from lovely Penny...What a surprise this was and what a bundle of delight was hiding inside...

So much pink loveliness!
I am in love with the texture and colour of the little bag...
and OH! another pink rosie brooch for me! Perfect perfection! Thank-you Penny!!
As it's the holidays we had a lovely day planned with Mrs Bun and the little Buns..... but sadly this happened completely out of the blue.....
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly little people can become very poorly and I cannot imagine ever being less than terrified by it... Thankfully the recovery can be just as speedy...
... today was a new day, the sun was shining, the garden is getting it's summer clothes on and the beautiful boy and I spent a dreamy day with his wildlife hero again. This time at another outstanding nature reserve. Eleven species of Dragonfly in 3 hours (including the rare Norfolk Hawker), Marsh Harriers, a Hobby, Grass snake, 5 different butterflies including the beautiful boy's first up close and clear sighting of the breath-taking Swallowtail. Magical. Little things. t.xxx

You two saw a Swallowtail? I have always wanted to see one. I am green with envy!

So sorry there was poorliness but I'm so glad there was a fairly speedy recovery.

Now I understand than one Marsh Harrier might seem a little like old news!
