Another week, another patchwork..

Well, only a little one this week. A little pram coverlet made using some of the additional squares from last week.
Backed and bound with the lovely rosy vintage sheeting...
and there's been some feathery snipping too this week....
I so love working with candlewick and blanket felt and I especially love making owls..
You have to keep an eye on them or they're off and away into the trees...
These are the last two of those lovely cotton crochet flowers...
and this fellow was decked out in bright primaries colours and has already been delivered to a store where he was immediately snapped up to be taken to a new home!
Hopefully he's getting lots of cuddles. I find with my bunting owls at events that little people love to stroke them against their cheeks... so sweet!
The workroom is always a tip after a productive week and it's been a bit non-stop around here lately...
I really ought to have a clear up before I start on an exciting new commission but I prefer to just distract myself by looking at the little things..
There's always lots on the barmy shelf to fill my eyes....
Not least these lovely flowers gathered for me by the boy... summer in a jug!
Oh and this little poppet hiding in a corner... he's gone to a new home too!
They quickly fly the nest so more to be made this week and that commission. Something special for a big day in August... I love wedding commissions. So much responsibility and such a privilege. Back soon with more news. t.xx

I just adore that little stripey owl at the bottom. At your "tip" of a workroom is fabulous! I could lose myself in there amongst all the lovely fabric!
