Retail Therapy.

The Good Homes article is out and Hazel and Brent have created a lovely tribute to the old house, although it is very odd to read about it now.
This photoshoot was the very first back in the Spring of 2009 which is clearly a lifetime ago now. The beautiful boy is delighted that his room got a whole page of it's own...
The 'Get the Look' feature had me in stitches as I'm sure many of my regular readers will understand! I mean that's an extremely fine Cath Kidston pink chair but my pink chair was skip-dived and cost only some leftover paint!

Now, back to the plumbing.. a couple of weeks is looking decidedly optimistic... but there's nothing wrong with optimism! t.xx

Oh how I wish I could do a girly shop, I've forgotten how to do it - I'd probably end up trying to barter the check-out girl down in price.

I love your look!!! But it just feels so much better when you know you haven't broken the bank for it and used a bit of initiative doesn't it!!!
Weldone you!!

Your new dress and shoes are terrific!

I am going to keep an eye out for that magazine on the newstands around here that carry international publications. I like your comment about "how to get the look."

Best wishes.

Fantastic shopping(excluding the plumbing kit) You will have to find somewhere/one to get glammed up and out with - can't wait to them on!

The all new look, new you!
That dress and shoes, very glam! Will be going to the newsagent to find that mag immediately. How long till your new home is in a mag? Not long I bet. Love Vanessa xxx
A new outfit is good for the soul - the dress is lovely!

I love that dress.

It must be very strange seeing your old house in the magazine. Has it helped or hindered you or nothing at all?

I'll make sure to grab a copy.

I'm sorry you had to leave your beautiful house behind. I really hope that doing the new house up helps the healing and its a sight to behold. I'm sure with your high standards it will be stunning! I wish my house was as beautiful, it seems to be cluttered these days with ongoing knitting projects and books!
Take care of yourself and the beautiful boy!

Gosh those two . . . . . . . . Hazel and Brent are everywhere eh?? CONGRATULATIONS!!
I am sure your latest project will knock the socks of your old home, it's just that it maybe wasn't what you expected to be doing when they took the photo's?
Will they do your new home too?

Loving the dress and the shoes, they look fabulous. I bought Good Homes for your article which looks great and must be a bit strange for you now you've moved on. I have now sent it off to the US in Broc Troc and Recup's magazine swap!
